What will your day look like?
Operational Leadership
Direct and manage all production activities, including filling and/or packaging operations
Ensure performance across Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery (SQCD) metrics
Monitor, analyze, and act on performance data to drive continuous improvement
Lead capacity planning for equipment, labor, and production needs
Partner cross-functionally with EHS, HR, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless operations
Support implementation of new equipment, processes, and operational improvements
People Leadership & Culture
Lead through a servant leadership approach, building trust and empowering employees to take ownership of their work
Sets clear priorities, expectations, and direction for the team to ensure alignment and execution
Create a high-accountability, high-engagement culture that values both performance and people
Coach and develop frontline leaders and operators, with a strong focus on growth, capability building, and succession
Provide clear direction and expectations while fostering autonomy and decision-making at all levels
Actively recognize and celebrate both small and large wins to reinforce positive behaviors and team engagement
Maintain a visible and consistent presence on the production floor, engaging with employees regularly
Team Effectiveness & Employee Relations
Lead and manage employee relations matters including performance management, conflict resolution, and policy adherence
Build an environment where feedback is encouraged, received, and acted upon
Foster open communication and psychological safety within the team
Partner with HR to proactively address workforce challenges and strengthen team dynamics
Strategic & Continuous Improvement
Balance day-to-day execution with the ability to step back and identify trends and proactively adjust priorities, resources, and processes to improve long-term performance
Lead or support initiatives that improve safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement
Drive continuous improvement through Lean principles and data-driven decision making
Ensure effective delegation of responsibilities while maintaining accountability for results
Other duties assigned by management.
QualificationsWhat will you bring to the table?
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
5+ years of experience leading people (exempt and/or non-exempt)
Experience in liquid filling and/or packaging operations preferred
Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive decisions based on insights
Proven ability to coach, develop, and empower teams
Demonstrated success building engaged, accountable, high-performing teams
Effective communicator with the ability to provide clear direction and expectations
Ability to delegate effectively without micromanaging, while holding teams accountable
Strong emotional intelligence, including self-awareness, empathy, and sound judgment
Open to feedback, willing to ask for help, and comfortable constructively challenging when needed
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership
Adaptable and effective in a fast-paced, changing environment
Experience with ERP/WMS systems (Oracle preferred)
Familiarity with Redzone or similar production systems preferred
Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement experience preferred
