Maps Design Team Lead

The OpportunityThe Event Data team is essential to ensuring all events across the globe are available to our buyers and sellers to purchase and sell tickets. Accuracy and speed are critical as we create a robust catalog with every event in every language and currency. Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment is necessary to ensure strong site performance and customer experience. The Maps Design Team Lead helps manage the day-to-day design workflows and ensures all facets of the work maintain a high quality standard within prescribed SLAs. Job Responsibilities:·         Help manage and develop junior level Map Designers across the globe (Salt Lake City, New York and Ireland)·         Review and evaluate performance metrics for direct reports and coach individuals whose metrics fall below acceptable levels.·         Act as an operational and knowledge resource for all members of the Maps Design team·         Work cross-functionally within the EDM team (compliance, training, quality) to support EDM goals.·         Responsible for driving OKRs for Maps and EDM·         Work closely with Maps Supervisor to strategize, test and implement process improvements and new workflows/tooling·         Become an expert on how both the tooling and workflows fit together from both an operational and technical standpoint·         Be flexible with changes in tooling, responsibilities, processes, communication, etc.  a. This includes training new hires, training the team on new processes/tools, organizing team activities, etc.·         Maintain daily scheduling for all designers·         Manage multiple projects at once while effectively prioritizing time·         Support and help drive the StubHub culture to ensure our team is performing at its best Job Requirements and Competencies: Meet or exceed metrics for the last 3 months and has been in the current position for at least 6 monthsRecommendation from current supervisor or managerFlexible, adaptable, and able to autonomously handle various tasks with short turn-around timesHas solid design foundation and expertise with Adobe IllustratorProcess-oriented with the ability to troubleshoot issues in a technical environmentExperience coaching and leading othersThinks strategically while tying experiences together from beginning to end – be proactive on solutions and opportunitiesMaintains high levels of confidentiality and professionalism, particularly while working with partnersDemonstrates analytical and problem-solving abilitiesCommunicates clearly and succinctly (verbal and written) in a variety of settings and stylesComfortable taking initiative and driving solutionsDemonstrates strong organizational and multi-tasking skillsProficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office; ability to pick, learn and adapt to new technologyMust be comfortable working in a fast-paced, stressful environmentExperience with data management/data entry a plusSQL knowledge is a bonus Please review the job description, qualifications, shift, and speak with your manager prior to applying.
