Senior Application Developer with German

As a Senior Application Developer, you will have responsibilities in the Software Technology Center with very good IT knowledge for project assignments in the field of software development and system integration. Depending on the project assignment, services in the following areas:

• Consulting the customer and analyzing customer requirements
• Documenting and aligning technical customer requirements

 

Main responsibilities:

• Creating technical solution concepts (e.g. rough and detailed concepts) as well as technical specifications
• Creating system or software solution architectures
• Programming and implementing software solutions in the areas of frontend and/or backend using modern programming languages:

• Angular, React, CSS, HTML, JavaScript
• Python, Java, C#, C++, and others
  • Creating components for standard applications (e.g. customizing/configuration)
  • Conducting and documenting functional and integration tests, as well as bug fixes
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation (e.g. application documentation, user manuals, software operational handbooks)
  • Developing and participating in the implementation of quality assurance and acceptance concepts as well as carrying out technical quality assurance
  • Independently conducting technical internal and external workshops

 

Requirements:

• Extensive practical professional experience: several years, at least 5 years in application development
• Very good knowledge of the German language in spoken and written form (at least Level C1 according to CEFR)
• Good knowledge of the English language in spoken and written form (at least Level B2 according to CEFR)
• Extensive theoretical and practical knowledge or project experience with modern IT technologies, programming languages (e.g. frontend and/or backend development), and frameworks
• Extensive knowledge in programming and conducting developer tests and with test automation (e.g. TestNG, JUnit, Selenium)
• Extensive knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and PL/SQL
• Extensive knowledge in using version control systems (e.g. Git, Subversion) and change management systems (e.g. BugZilla, Confluence, Jira)
