We’re currently looking for two Student Assistants to join us part-time at the freight office for the Oslo–Copenhagen route, based in Copenhagen. You’ll be supporting weekend shifts once or twice a month, with occasional weekday shifts when needed - approximately 16–48 hours per month, with more hours during summer and winter holidays. Expect increased activity during Q3 and Q4 2025.

About the role  

This isn’t just another student job. You'll be at the center of operations, helping goods and freight vehicles move smoothly between Denmark and Norway. You’ll gain hands-on experience in international logistics and maritime freight – an excellent starting point if you’re curious about transport, operations, or customs handling.

What will you do?

  • Be the connection point between drivers, customers, customs officials, terminals and vessel crews, ensuring everything runs on time.
  • Handle the check-in process for freight drivers boarding ferries – your support keeps the flow moving.
  • Assist at the terminal by directing passenger vehicles on board when needed.
  • Help manage key customs clearance documentation in line with international regulations.
  • Update bookings and maintain accurate records for a smooth operation.

The ideal person for this position will have:

  • Current enrollment in a higher education program related to Logistics, Maritime Studies, or Business Administration.
  • Strong organizational skills and a methodical approach to work.
  • A genuine interest in the maritime industry and customer service excellence.
  • Mandatory fluency in Danish and English.
