Brown University and The Lifespan Cancer Institute/Rhode Island Hospital is seeking a hematologist/oncologist specializing in geriatric oncology. The candidate will be given 40% protected time to develop a research program. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with outstanding researchers in patient outcomes, geriatrics and translational oncology.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must qualify for a full-time medical faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Minimum requirements include: Board eligibility or certification in oncology, strong experience in"clinical, translational or patient outcomes research, excellence in patient care and teaching, and a commitment to scholarly participation in the research programs of The Warren Alpert Medical School. Candidates at the Associate Professor level must have a national reputation of excellence.
