Core Responsibilities

• Reads production schedule and identify the right pickle for the right meat

• Injects product with the right pickle

• Performs various checks and documentation of data

• Verifies that needles and blades are in good working condition

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Knowledge and experience in Meat Industry is preferred, but not required

• Competent and trustworthy to comply with federal inspection programs and company safety and health policies.

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

• Be available to work scheduled hours, which may include mandatory overtime, depending upon production demands.

• Mechanical aptitude preferred, but not required

• Must be able to perform Lockout/Tag out

• Must be able to operate PIT (Power Industrial Tools)

• Must be able to read production schedule

• Must be able to know basic Math

• Computer literate

• Detail oriented

• Being able to understand and follow oral and written instruction from supervisors and designated staff
