Business Manager, Insurance Linked Securities (hybrid Work Model)

We have a great Business Management opportunity in Alternative Capital Partners (ACP) supporting Insurance Linked Securities (ILS).  The ILS Business Manager is responsible for the operational support and oversight of Swiss Re Insurance-Linked Investment Advisor Corporation (SRILIAC), our US based investment manager. 

 

About the Role

 

In this role you will also support pre-close and post-close transaction management for the Insurance Linked Securities (ILS) and Life & Health Structured Solutions (LHSS) businesses.   

The ILS Business Manager works closely with the business, clients, service providers and all support functions to facilitate the execution of trades and approval of structured transactions.  The ILS Business Manager is also responsible for ongoing trade entry & settlement, issue resolution, governance, transaction/portfolio monitoring, reporting, AML/KYC and P&L capture.

 

 

About the Team

 

ACP Business Management (ACP BM) is a division of Alternative Capital Partners dedicated to providing specialized transaction and business support to our investment advisor and capital markets businesses. ACP BM works directly with the business to enable structuring, approval, execution, settlement and reporting of capital markets transactions. ACP BM is responsible for developing new products, ensuring portfolios and deals are monitored/managed through maturity, policies and regulations are followed, as well as leading strategic revenue generating projects.

 

 

About You

 

You are highly motivated with a strong work ethic and bring with you excellent organizational and communication skills!  You are detail-oriented with an advanced ability to navigate ambiguity. 

 

Additional requirements:

 

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years of capital markets industry experience
• Working knowledge of Modelling, SQL, and relational database management required
• Fund Middle Office, Fund Operations or Trustee experience preferred

 

For New York City the estimated base salary range for this position is $104,000 to $156,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.
