A little more about our center:
Southview Manor (formerly Southview Care) is an inner-city skilled nursing facility (SNF) with 5 floors and an average census of 160+. We have and multiple levels of care, including long term care and a large behavioral health (formerly indigent) population.

- The average age of our patients is 35-55 and the most common diagnoses are schizophrenia, bi-polar and major depressive disorders.
- Many are able to age in place, and about 25% return to the community.
- We have several programs encouraging engagement, but the most popular spot in our center is the game room.
- We love new grads and work with students from multiple schools/universities in the area.
- The Metra and the Green Line are just a few blocks away

Job Description
What you will do in this role: The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Director is responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating clinical services for the center. The PRSD's responsibilities will include but are limited to program management, direct care, supervision, interviewing, accurate record keeping, training, and staff development.

Qualifications
What we need from you:
- PRSD with a minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred for this role
- Must be experienced with Part S regulations
- Minimum requirements are a Masters Degree in a human services field (including but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling or psychology) with at least 1 year of supervisory experience and 3 years of experience working directly with persons with severe mental illness, or a licensed, registered OR certified psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker, occupational therapist, rehabilitation counselor, psychiatric nurse or licensed professional counselor with at least 1 year of supervisory experience and at least one year of experience working directly with persons with mental illness is required
