- Facilitate daily standups and Scrum ceremonies. Protect the team from over-committing and scope creep. Aid in estimation, sub-task creation, and sprint reviews. Capture feedback and note areas for improvement. Meet with team members and stakeholders as needed. Resolve team disagreements about process and work styles. Analyze burndown charts and portfolio planning tools. Eliminate external blockers and manage internal roadblocks.
- Interface with business units to understand and document requirements, ensuring they are well thought through, and translate them into functional and technical requirements. Collaborate with engineering technical leads and engineers, conduct and read technical documentation, and explore data and workflow automation.
- Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, monitor progress, implement mitigation strategies, and develop detailed project plans while coordinating with departments and stakeholders. Facilitate regular project meetings, ensure effective communication and collaboration, and ensure projects go through the software development life cycle (SDLC). Understand IT function terms and workflow including security, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, WorkFront, etc.
What you'll need:
- 3+ years of related experience or similar field.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a technically equivalent curriculum. Master degree is a plus.
- Good project management skills with experience in project management tools and methodologies, and strong interpersonal skills with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-driven and proactive approach to problem-solving, with a good understanding of database concepts and experience with databases such as SQL Server.
- Proficiency in Transact SQL (T-SQL) programming and design, object-oriented programming (OOP), especially C#, and understanding of modern source control technologies such as GIT.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization, and a proven track record of understanding relevant business domain knowledge.
- Strong experience in gathering and documenting requirements, with mortgage industry experience being a plus.
