Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY

Renders professional nursing care to patients assigned in a Med-Surg unit, in support of medical care as directed by medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital. Work encompasses direct and indirect care patient care and collaboration with other disciplines involved in the provision of care.

Qualifications

Education:

Minimum Education: Associate degree or Diploma in Nursing

Experience:

Minimum Experience: GN with temporary license

Certifications:

Required Licensure: Valid Texas RN license

Required Certification: BLS, ACLS

** Note – Required certifications are to be completed by 2 months of employment.
