Senior Product Designer

At ESW, we empower the world's best-loved brands to grow their business globally. As a Product designer for our Design System SPOT, you will play an integral part in connecting our Design System and the teams who use it.

You know design systems and transform insights into ideas at scale; you can prototype and validate them. You can communicate those ideas clearly and are solid in written and spoken English.

You understand a holistic UX process well and follow a user-centered approach when making design decisions. You quickly understand users' needs, goals, pain points, and motivations.

Requirements

• Led the design and product implementation of SPOT (ESW Design System)
• Collaborate with designers to understand, create, and maintain components of the Design System
• Initiate, prioritize and monitor design system tasks, the progress of design, development, and documentation for components.
• Continuously evaluate and conduct UX audits on existing features.
• Present the Design System mission and goals and report the process to the broader organization.
• Be a part of the Platform UI team responsible for implementing the design system and empowering other development teams on UI Development.
• You'll design and build upon the foundational patterns, UI components, tools, and processes that enable teams to create consistent, high-quality user experiences at speed and scale.
• Report on the Design System's progress to key stakeholders and broader audiences.
• Lead discussions through UX Governance to collaborate with various stakeholders
• Partner with Product Management and Tech Leadership and seek out and identify opportunities to lead the design on the Design System.
• Write clear documentation and usage guidelines that teach designers and engineers how to use components and patterns across design and code.
• You'll communicate large, complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage, prioritize, and track the workload within tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities and experience:

• 5+ years of designing and problem-solving in applications with end-to-end experience across a variety of platforms.
• Experience with designing with the big picture in mind, working through problems from beginning to end.
• Experience with designing and maintaining a Design System in Figma.
• Work showcasing strong visual and interaction design work; examples of collaboration with other designers.
• Positive attitude, growth mindset, and humility.
• Experience connecting your work with other cross-product initiatives within the company to drive collaboration.
