The Production Control Coordinator will play a key role in the Injection Molding organization by increasing assurances that all Xometry partner and customer requests, questions, and concerns related to manufacturing projects, are attended to in a timely manner. Specifically, the individual in this position will be responsible for monitoring the Injection Molding case queue for risks and issues as well as problem solving, and process improvement as needed. This individual also plays a key role in Partner success and Customer service, by assuring jobs are started on time. Duties & Responsibilities: ● Monitor the Injection Molding case queue and ensure issues are properly assigned and attended to in a timely manner.● Follow up with customers and partners via phone calls and emails to ensure orders are moving properly and are not stuck on hold. Example activities are as follows:o Customer follow ups for DFM approval confirmationo Follow ups for sample delivery confirmationo Customer follow ups for sample approval confirmation● Building quotes for customers for part re-orders● Effectively communicate and interface with all key stakeholders, to include partners, customers, engineering, quality management, partner management, sales, and pre-sales● Provide excellent customer service by keeping partners and customers updated on all open issues.● Other daily and back-up duties as assigned.● Performs all work in compliance with Xometry's quality and safety systems, policies and procedures. Coordinator Qualifications● Bachelor of Science Degree in Technical or related field; 2 or more years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.● 2 years of related experience. Manufacturing experience preferred. ● Working knowledge of and/or education, skills, and experience associated with manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, mechanical inspection methods preferred.● Customer Service experience required.● Experience with CRM systems, Salesforce preferred.● Experience with Asana is a plus.● Proficiency with MS Office Suite.● Exhibit to be a self-starter, work independently, and drive actions to completion.● Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.● Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines● Strong communication skills (both oral and written) + ability to manage up and to the side.If this job isn’t for you but you have a friend who may be a perfect fit - share this job with them!
