What you'll do...

Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting Asset Management processes across Walmart Supply Chain. This role will oversee Tractor & Trailer management, steer yard space optimization, ensure equipment is allocated appropriately across the network, and deliver revenue, dwell, turn, and mileage utilization goals. In addition, this role will partner cross-functionally to drive utilization results in partnership with Planning, Maintenance, and Operations.

Additional Comments:

Asset Control Tower (ACT) is responsible for end-to-end asset management and utilization across Walmart Supply Chain. This is a new team, established in 2022, that continues to grow. Current scope includes Trailers & Tractors with plans to expand to all Delivery equipment across Distribution, Fulfillment, and Supplier nodes. We are a Control Tower– solutioning opportunities and influencing cross-functional action to deliver yard and equipment optimization goals.
