About Us: The Strategic Architecture Initiatives Office (SAIO) is a centralized function within the Aladdin Platform organization. Our mission is to lead delivery for Aladdin’s most critical and technically complex initiatives to advance key business priorities, enhance client delivery, and position BlackRock and Aladdin to deliver for future investor needs.  

 

Role Overview: As an SAIO Associate, you will manage and deliver strategic projects by creating clear project plans, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely completion. You are dedicated to continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for optimization, and providing solutions to enhance current programs and processes. You are a collaborative team member, technically adept, and passionate about making it easier for teams to excel.  

 

Key Responsibilities: We are looking for a technical project manager who can independently lead cross-functional projects and demonstrate ownership of project outcomes. You should be adept at driving progress and managing stakeholders effectively.  

 

Project Management:  

  • Identify key deliverables and milestones to build a project plan that shows dependencies, sequencing, and estimates.  

  • Actively identify gaps that pose a risk to project success.  

  • Establish accountability and deliver projects on schedule.  

  • Provide metrics for tracking, measurement, and reporting on projects.  

  • Take a hands-on approach to managing projects.  

 

Communication:  

  • Effectively communicate complex information to inform decisions.  

  • Influence stakeholders to take action and facilitate buy-in of recommendations. 

  • Optimize connection points, ensuring meetings are meaningful and productive.  

  • Approach communication thoughtfully and sensitively.  

 

Essential Qualifications:  

  • 3 – 5 years in a technical project management role in financial services or a management consulting role.  

  • Experience with the SDLC, waterfall, and agile methodologies (scrum, kanban).  

  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps, MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel).  

  • Preferred experience with project/product management tools such as Smartsheet and Aha!  

  • Complex/cross-functional project management experience.  

 


 

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$100,000.00 - USD$130,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
