Financial Planning and Analysis Senior Analyst, Streaming

Crunchyroll's Finance Organization consists of Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, and Business Intelligence team with members based across multiple global locations. The FP&A team is looking for a high-visibility Senior Analyst, reporting to the FP&A Director, and playing an important role in providing data-driven analysis to help define the subscription service's long-range plans and growth.

As the Senior FP&A Analyst you will operate at the heart of our organization, leading the budgeting, forecasting, and actual analysis for our streaming line of business (LOB). You will work with teams across the company including business development, marketing, product & engineering. The role may require occasional travel domestically.

About you

As our FP&A Senior Analyst, Streaming (SVOD | AVOD) you will oversee the delivery of accurate and insightful performance analysis of Crunchyroll's streaming LOB. You will put together the global picture and implementing best practice, working with team members across multiple global teams to understand the context behind the numbers and embed reporting and process.

• 5+ years experience working in FP&A in a fast-growing business in an entertainment, media or subscription-based business

• You understand pricing, subscription management and content licensing

• Proficiency in excel (can perform complex functions) and the ability to perform complex financial modeling

• You can present to complex financial information to non-finance audiences

• Knowledge of ERP Systems

• Project management skills

A day in the life of our FP&A Senior Analyst, Streaming:

You will handle the monthly analysis of actual performance, working with accounting and business intelligence to consolidate and interpret financial information. You will produce ad hoc analysis, and help improve efficiency and improvement across Finance and Accounting!

• Handle and develop subscription financial models to support and form the strategic plans.

• Lead subscription reporting internally to management and externally to corporate parent.

• Perform payment analysis to support efficient global expansion plans.

• Perform pricing analysis and reporting to support ARPU management including FX impact.

• Spot and highlight trends and variances to produce analysis.

• Guide data, process and application improvements aimed at enhancing quality and availability of subscription management information.

• Support the annual budget setting and monthly forecasting processes, including monthly reviews.

• Prepare presentations to communicate budgets, forecasts and important projects.

• Collaborate with the Product team on subscriber retention and churn.

• Partner with Accounting on actual close process and P&L analysis.

• Develop KPI's, metrics, and dashboard reports.
