USA Vein Clinics, Vascular Centers, and Fibroid Centers are growing and looking to add an HMO Referral Coordinator to our team!

The HMO Referral Coordinator would be responsible for the coordination and processing of all patient referrals for professional specialist office services in a high volume practice.
Responsibilities
- Contact PCP offices to obtain system generated referrals via phone or fax
- Review all referrals for eligibility, accuracy and completeness
- Track and manage HMO Referrals by entering them into the computer system
- Act as a liaison between patients and their Primary Care Physicians to retrieve on time referral
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent with three or more years medical referral authorization experience in healthcare, highly preferred
- Experience with Referral Processing for HMO, preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word) and EMR experience, preferred.
- Effective Communication skills, ability to work in a high volume patient environment, results and goal oriented, ability to set priorities and meet deadlines, strong attention to detail, self starter, and Service Excellence skills.
- Ability to multi-task effectively.
- Quality improvement philosophy with high level of job accuracy, efficiency and dependability.
- Knowledge of HIPAA.
- Maintain 100% confidentiality relating to all patients, corporate, financial and proprietary information.
