Strategic Product Owner – One SMS PLM

Your mission

In this position, you play a key role in setting the strategy for all PLM related processes and you're responsible for aligning and setting the vision and long-term roadmap for the One SMS PLM solution. You ensure the solution supports our business strategy and evolving customer needs, while aligning with IT standards and divisional goals. Through your well-established knowledge in our business and by leading the involvement of stakeholders across divisions, you gather, prioritize, and manage business requirements. You continuously evaluate and improve the solution to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Your responsibilities include:

• Defining and communicating the strategic direction and priorities for the One SMS PLM solution.
• Contributing to the PLM roadmap and ensuring alignment with divisional and SMS strategies.
• Driving continuous improvement of the PLM solution to meet changing customer demands.
• Scanning the market for new trends, standards, technologies and best practices.
• Supporting competence development in PLM processes across divisions.
• Delivering key outputs such as a prioritized roadmap, stakeholder engagement plans, and strategic evaluations.

The location is flexible within Europe, preferably near one of our major R&D hubs.

Your profile

We’re looking for someone with practical experience in PLM-related processes, strategic development and familiarity with agile methodologies. You understand how IT systems support business operations and a track record of leading cross-functional change initiatives. You communicate fluently in English and are comfortable working in an international setting.

You’re a collaborative leader who builds trust and commitment across teams. You thrive in complex environments, navigating diverse stakeholder needs with clarity and confidence. With excellent communication skills, you naturally foster alignment and shared understanding. You’re proactive, strategic, and always looking for ways to improve how we work.
