Program Manager, Lacy School of Business (Part-Time)

Position Overview
This part-time role leads Bulldog Enterprises, Butler’s student-run business program. The Program Manager supports student CEOs and teams in building and operating sustainable ventures that enhance learning outcomes, deliver real-world impact, and align with the mission of Butler University.
Responsibilities
- Serve as day-to-day leader and advisor for Bulldog Enterprises and its ventures (Blue’s Closet, Butler Brew, Chimba Bowls and more).
- Coach student CEOs and teams on strategy, budgeting, operations, compliance, and hiring.
- Build and implement a shared services model to provide central marketing, finance, legal, and operations support across all ventures.
- Oversee onboarding, leadership development, and regular check-ins with student venture leaders.
- Maintain systems and documentation including playbooks, process templates, and KPIs.
- Collaborate with university departments to ensure legal, financial, and HR compliance.
- Track and report impact, operational results, and student learning outcomes.
- Guide the launch of new ventures and assess the sustainability of existing ones.
- Manage communications with external stakeholders including vendors and donors.
- Represent Bulldog Enterprises within the broader Butler Entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, entrepreneurship, education, or related field. MBA Preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in business, startups, higher education, or program management.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with business operations, coaching, and event coordination.
- Comfort with fast-paced, flexible, entrepreneurial environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting or running student-led businesses.
- Familiarity with higher education administration and compliance processes.
- Proficiency in project management and business operations platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, vendors, and donors.
- Passion for experiential learning and entrepreneurial education.
