Manager - WCMC Healthcare Technology - Integrated - Full Time - 8 Hour - Days

Job Description:

Manages the daily activities of the assigned Biomedical Engineering staff. Is the primary administrative contact between hospital operational departments and Biomedical Engineering to manage overall operations, distribution of resources and create strategies for medical and IT technology integration.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree Electrical Engineering- Required or

• Bachelor's Degree Biomedical Engineering - Required or

• Bachelor's Degree Related Field - Required

Experience:

• 8 years Related Experience - Required

• 5 years Healthcare - Biomedical Engineering - Required

• 5 years Regulatory Compliance - Required

• 5 years Management Position - Required

• 5 years Complex Healthcare Systems - Required

Skills:

• Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.

• Knowledge of many different types of patient care equipment and electronic theory; knowledge of medical device IT integration processes and technologies.

• Has expert knowledge of a range of medical devices used by John Muir Health and/or is certified in use of one or more devices.

Exempt Salaried (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$167,899.00 - $251,848.00

Salary

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.
Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
