Job Summary: SUNY Brockport is accepting applications for a Classroom Support Specialist. The duties and responsibilities associated with the operation of Academic Technology Support (ATS) includes classroom technology equipment distribution, set-up, repair, preventative maintenance, assisting clients with the use of classroom technology and providing technical support to all learning environments. Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree by time of appointment, from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
• Two years of full-time work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to working in a culturally diverse environment.
• Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Must have a valid New York State driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Work experience in higher education environment.
• Experience working with Crestron control system.
• Experience working with event management systems.
• Professional certification in audiovisual field.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am - 4 pm Salary and Benefits: Minimum starting salary - $55,575
