Business Systems Support Analyst

What does a successful Business Systems Support Analyst do at Fiserv?

As a Business Systems Support Analyst, you will solve technology information systems problems by analyzing requirements; analyzing existing systems; pseudo-designing computer programs; recommending system controls and protocols.  You will communicate updates of backlogs to the stakeholders. 

What you will do:

• Research production system issues by analyzing data, working with system SMEs and potentially running queries. 
• Create user documentation for screens and reports as a part of design deliverables.
• Work to understand the overall business need, create a business case and then define the technical requirements.
• Use planning, stakeholder analysis, risk assessment, organizational analysis, interface analysis, writing skills and user experience (knowing how a user interface applies to success).
• Create and execute test plans..

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology or related field or equivalent experience required.

• 5+ years of experience in documenting business requirements and leading sessions with all types of audiences across an organization, business and technical.

• 5+ years of technical writing experience.
• Solid understanding and practical experience of software like JIRA and Agile methodologies.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

What would be great to have:

• Highly proficient skills in using Git and GitOps, Containerization knowledge would be nice (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Experience with gathering business requirements surrounding Loan Servicing systems.
• Experience with software development.
