JOB SUMMARY
Therapy Techs assist clinical therapists with safe patient mobility while ensuring therapy gyms and floors remain clean, organized, and well‑equipped for daily operations.
Schedule:
- The post-training start time is 8:30 AM
Weekend Shifts:
- 4 weekend shifts per month. One comp day.
- Example: Working Sat, Nov 2 = 1 shift; Sun, Nov 3 = 1 shift; Sun, Nov 17 = 1 shift (total 3 shifts).
Mandatory Holiday Work Expectations:
- Holiday work is mandatory for certain holidays.
- All full-time therapy staff are required to work Thanksgiving and Christmas as part of a rotating holiday schedule.
The holiday schedule alternates yearly, meaning you will work one set of holidays in one year and the opposite set the next year.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required
- Education
High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Licenses and Certifications
(CPRAED) CPR AED or
(BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
Preferred
Experience
1 year therapy technician work experience in hospital, or outpatient rehabilitation setting preferred. Acute Care Setting experience, experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or experience in an Outpatient setting.
