The Sales Director- Northeast will have responsibility for generating new business with enterprise global prospects in a northeast U.S. territory. The candidate will sell the full platform of ALTOUR’s products (corporate travel management, meetings management, and travel data/analytics) to enterprises in specific vertical or geographic territories to win net new customers. The Global Sales Director will manage, own, and drive sales opportunities through strategic selling, negotiate, and close business.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas.  Many factors, such as years of experience, geographical location, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.  The salary range posted represents the pay range for U.S. candidates.  If the job posting indicates that the role is available for international candidate consideration, the salary range will be based on the local market for the country where the candidate would be working.

 

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.

Responsibilities

  • Uncover qualified opportunities across your network, forecast, manage internal resource support, and planning of new business deals. Effectively manage the strategic enterprise sales process, from identification to discovery to understanding pain to presentation to negotiation to close.
  • Thoroughly qualify all leads and sales opportunities resulting in inclusion in client RFP processes with identified annual contract value (ACV). Build competitive preference before and during RFP process to increase wins.
  • Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the corporate travel management platform.
  • Participate in the creation and presentation of effective meetings to close business, selling the complete value propositions through calls, Teams meetings, webinars and face-to-face meetings.
  • Advise customer on ROI using business drivers while presenting solution sale.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close sale.
  • Understand travel technology and present ALTOUR solutions in a compelling, positive, and professional way.
  • Quarterback team selling environment – leverage available resources including operations, meetings management, marketing, and supplier relations to secure the sale.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment.
  • Experience selling software (Cloud/SaaS/On-demand/on premise) and/or professional services to strategic enterprise accounts.
