This is a 100% remote position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business, organizational and/or operational requirements
  • Serve as a liaison between the software development team and project stakeholders to ensure that the project is aligned with user needs and business objectives
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement or management control of workflow
  • Responsible for identifying problems and developing recommendations, as well as coordinating action with the project team and customer
  • Create and deliver reports, proposals, documentation, and presentations.
  • Maintain our Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
  • Work with stakeholders to define and document business processes.
  • Convert requirements into workable Product Backlog Items (PBIs)
  • Assist other teammates with the development of training materials and user acceptance testing documents

Basic Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Accounting, Finance, Data Science or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a business analyst or related role
  • Experience in the Department of Defense's Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business analysis software
  • Knowledge of financial management principles
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Experience consulting or delivering solutions to federal clients
  • The ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), or Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)
  • General knowledge of federal financial management processes and requirements
  • Prior consulting experience with DoD or federal clients
  • Prior experience using Jira or ServiceNow

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain a secret level clearance.

The projected compensation range for this position is $100,800-$168,700. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
