Job Description
Assistant Scientific Director, Medical Payer Strategy - Immunology
- Responsible to ensure scientific pull through of key medical strategies into communications across multiple channels.
- Provides support for assigned products and is responsible for designing and implementing training content and programs, developing scientific resources for field medical, and pulling together resources for digital (Omnichannel Strategy), which includes HQ emails and webinar assistance in support of organizational and franchise goals.
- Functions in a medical/scientific role within assigned therapeutic area supporting on-market products, new indications/disease states, competitive intelligence, and pipeline products.
- Maintains current therapeutic expertise necessary to serve as a scientific resource to field medical teams, TA teams, Market Access, and all cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, with the assistance of MPS Directors, materials for use (e.g. Congress Booth, Webinar, Digital Med Ed) with HCMD audiences including medical education, data, guidelines, and value proposition.
- Translates integrated brand plan into medical tactics and core communication topics: Develops non-promotional MOSL and Digital resources and ensures communications are supported by medical communication standards, pharmacovigilance standards, SOPs, and all other quality and compliance standards in Medical Affairs.
- Identifies, designs, and implements focused and impactful internal training programs aiming to shape scientific understanding and payer impact for both Value & Access and Market Access.
