HOW AN AI & CLOUD SECURITY ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

● Develop and maintain security architecture for AI/ML and cloud-based systems, considering data security, platform security, model integrity, adversarial attacks, and compliance requirements (NIST, DFARS, etc).

● Collaborate with Infrastructure, AI/ML engineers, and developers to implement security controls and best practices for new and existing environments and applications.

● Provide security expertise and guidance throughout the entire project lifecycle (e.g., AI/ML, cloud), from initial concept and design, to deployment, and maintenance.

● Partner with GRC team to conduct thorough threat modeling and risk assessments specific to cloud and AI/ML applications to identify potential risks and mitigation strategies

● Ensure AI/ML and cloud projects adhere to relevant security policies, standards, and regulatory frameworks.

● Partner with IT Architects to design and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including architecture diagrams and standard operating procedures.

● Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML, cybersecurity threats, and security best practices.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor's degree or 4+ additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
● Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience within architecture or cybersecurity
● Required Technical Skills: Foundational knowledge and/or certifications in cloud technologies (ex. Azure, AWS, etc)

● Knowledge of AI/ML Frameworks (ex. Azure AI Studio, AWS Bedrock, AWS Sagemaker, MLFlow, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, HuggingFace)
● Required Skills and Abilities: Ability to identify cyber risks, create a remediation plan, and track through resolution. Ability to document risks and present them to leadership team.

The likely salary range for this position is $139,984 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
