Job Description

The Assistant Director of Student Success Systems provides technical support and maintenance for the University's student success management system (currently EAB Navigate360) within the Office of Student Success. This position collaborates with faculty, staff, the Division of Student Success & Engagement leadership team, and the Division of IT Solutions to deploy, maintain, and administer our institution’s student intervention, engagement, and outreach systems. As the campus application administrator for Navigate360, this position supports the ongoing training and development of faculty and staff with an emphasis on the technical element of the system. This role assists with daily operations, reporting, and analysis of student success management system tools.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in student support, enrollment, retention, or advising services. A Doctorate degree may substitute for two years of experience; Master’s degree may substitute for 18 months of experience; Bachelor’s degree may substitute for one year of experience; Associate’s degree may substitute for six months of experience.

  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service and communication skills including written, oral, and interpersonal communication.

  • Information Technology experience: Ability to work with information technology development.

  • Problem Solving: Ability to interpret user explanation of problems, apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to come to a resolution/solution. Ability to convey complicated problems to others and proactively assist in developing solutions.

  • Advanced experience providing presentations and trainings while effectively communicate complicated information.

  • Experience designing and articulating processes and systems to guide work of self and others.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Ability to fully utilize multiple complex and varied technology systems with little or no supervision.

Preferred Qualification 

  • Earned Bachelor’s degree at time of application.

  • Experience working in a higher education setting.

  • Previous experience with EAB Navigate360 platform or similar student success technology platforms.

  • Understanding of college student development theories and high-impact student success practices.

  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.
