Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Role & Responsibilities:

· Provide first-line supervisor oversight to daily tasks performed by a maintenance crew(s).

· Incorporate Safety into all aspects of the operation and ensure that safe working conditions, actions and practices exist and are followed at all times.

· Accountable for maintaining high levels of crew safety performance.

· Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive and predictive maintenance activities necessary to keep industrial equipment operating efficiently. Tasks may include but are not limited to motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic systems, conveyor systems, PLC's, Motor Control Centers, welding, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, schematics, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, engineering specifications; and troubleshooting malfunctions.

· Adept at prioritizing and coordinating maintenance activities to maximize production efficiencies and equipment availability.

· Timely communication with production department around maintenance issues and the impact on operations.

· Identify part needs and procurement.

· Ensure all plant equipment is well maintained through support, enforcement and implementation of all rules or procedures relating to the plant's RPM initiative.

· Take lead role in training and developing of assigned employees in the skills needed to achieve key performance metrics.

· Able to build rapport with employees through effective communication and engagement efforts.

· Must be willing to uphold and enforce company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.

· Adaptable to overtime requirements.

· May require occasional travel.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Proficiency with electrical and mechanical control systems, LOTO, and safe working procedures.

· Must meet the requirements for a maintenance supervisor as established in the plant Operator Rate Program.

· Prior experience as a supervisor in a full-time or relief role is preferred but not required.

· Must be able to lead employees in LEAN concepts.

· Working knowledge of maintenance programs and the ability to enter data, navigate, and extract information from CMMS.

· Business minded, people and results oriented, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

· Self-starter, excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

· Demonstrated leadership potential including personal accountability, decision-making and problem-solving capability.

· Ability to develop relationships in a diverse workforce environment by prioritizing coaching and engagement.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
