***MANAGER, ACCOUNTING***

Remote U.S. or Canada Role

 

This Altera Accounting Manager will serve in a hybrid role with primary responsibility for aspects of the treasury function, and secondary responsibility for various accounting-related functions.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Treasury

• Cash management
  • Manage the Company’s cash flow to ensure there is sufficient cash on hand by country/account to meet financial obligations.
  • Manage payroll, vendor, tax, and other disbursements by country/account.
  • Manage the monthly settlement of international entities’ invoices on behalf of the U.S. entity.
  • Direct the repatriation of international funds.
• Cash flow forecasting
  • Manage the preparation of a weekly/monthly cash flow forecast by country including quarterly cash target creation.
  • Manage the reporting of actual results by country.
• Bank account management
  • Lead the overall assessment of the bank account structure vs, needs.
  • Manage the process required to update the signers on each account.
  • Manage daily transaction requests.
• Banking relationships
  • Maintain connection with banking partners, and collaborate with these partners to ensure the Company is in compliance with all requirements.

Accounting

• AR and AFDA close process, analysis, and reconciliation
• Manage the U.S. and International sales and use tax function.
• Manage the strategy, implementation, and administration of the Company’s employee T&E policy.

 QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.

Work Experience 

• 5+ years of experience to include both treasury management and GL accounting.
• Strong understanding of treasury operations
• Excellent people and project leadership skills. Strong preference for candidates who have formally led small teams and key projects.
• Experienced at effectively communicating with senior-level executives and resources, both internal and external
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software

WORK LOCATION 

Remote, U.S. or Canada-based role.  Candidates may live anywhere in the U.S. or in Canada.

Salary Range$80,000—$106,000 USD
