As an Embedded Network Software Engineer, you will become an integral part of a team involved in the development and sustaining support of the leading-edge Wi-Fi solutions. You will be responsible for the design, development, debugging, integration and testing of software systems with a focus on the embedded programming with wired & wireless applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement networking routing/switching software for linux-based networking systems managed from the Cloud.
• Develop software on new embedded networking hardware platforms with the latest technology.
• Analyze requirements, design, develop and deliver high quality software in a high-performing team.
• Develop functional and design specifications. 
• Interact cross functionally on matters that require coordination across organization lines.
• Remote work is an option.

Skills Required:

• 5+ years of software development experience in C is required.
• Prior experience desired in networking protocol development of control plane protocols or data plane implementations in switches/routers.
• Experience with Linux Kernel software with networking preferred.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP and networking technologies.
• Coding and automation experience in Python is highly desired.
• Hands-on experience with GIT and GitHub.

Education:

• BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science
