About the job
If you think that User Management is just about internal administrative tools, think again. Building and maintaining tools for user permissions and authentication is a big part of the squad’s realm, but it is not the only one. The team’s future is in building low-touch self-serve products that remove as many barriers as possible for users to sign up to the GWI platform, have a personalised onboarding experience and independently manage their account, which is pivotal to GWI's wider growth strategy. What you’ll be doing
- You’ll be the product manager for the User Management squad within the GWI Platform community, which is a multidisciplinary squad responsible for:
- Creating tools for users to easily self sign-up to the GWI platform and invite others to help us scale.
- Building and maintaining self-serve tools for users to independently manage their account licences and user access across their organisation.
- Owning the development of the internal administration platform for user management, plans, permissions and authentication.
- Leading the creation and maintenance of features that enable the internal Client Success teams to better service client accounts.
- Creating product roadmaps combining client feedback, internal stakeholder input and usage analytics to prioritise the most valuable work.
- Validating, scoping and prioritising products and features that continually add value and users love.
- Seeking data insights to evaluate and measure the existing product performance or new opportunities.
- Sprint planning, management and retrospectives for multiple engineering teams.
About you
You are confident to make informed decisions, have a track record of delivering at pace while managing uncertainty and can see the bigger picture to lead the User Management squad in a new direction to find opportunities for bold experiments.
Technical
- A proven record of having launched a products before at a B2B company with measurable success metrics
- Experience in building complex roadmaps with cross-functional dependencies.
- Ability to explain a complex concept to different stakeholders with the right level of context and detail (for example: execs vs. engineers vs. customers).
- Excellent communication skills, willing to present to clients and internal stakeholders and comfortable to explain decision trade offs.

- Appetite to learn through imperfect progress rather than perfection.
- Confidence to ask questions and draw out the knowledge of your cross-functional team to collaboratively identify the most fitting engineering and design solutions.
- Strong problem solving, negotiating, influencing, and decision making skills, proven experience balancing multiple priorities.
- Curiosity and a get-up-and-go attitude, able to tackle large initiatives without being micromanaged.
- Appetite to continuously develop and create a learning culture for your squad.
