SALARY RANGE: $167,295 - $212,458 per year

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) 

Nokia of America Corporation, Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Multiple Positions), Sunnyvale, CA. Develop and execute sophisticated tests to identify software problems and causes and verify conformance of feature(s) functionality against requirements specifications. Automate test cases using in-house Tcl or Python based infrastructure. Report to Software, Hardware, Firmware and Product Marketing teams to help drive the feature to completion. Augment test strategies and automation with feedback and analysis from real-world customer deployments. Play a role in system design reviews so that Quality Assurance is considered through lifecycle of the product. #LI-DNI

 


JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Telecommunication Systems Management, Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Skills Required: Applying scripting and programming skills using Python; Application of TCP/IP networking testing and troubleshooting; Wireshark and Cisco Packet Tracer; Testing routing protocols (OSPF, ISIS, BGP4, and RIP); Signaling protocols (MPLS, RSVP, and LDP). 

Skills may be gained through experience or academic coursework. Qualifying education, coursework, and/or experience may have been gained concurrently.
