In our global community of people from 100+ countries, we listen to each other, actively contribute and grow together.  </p><p>Join us in our exciting quest to build the future home! </p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Group Accounting Controller (Group Accountant)</b></p><p></p><p>Electrolux Group Accounting &amp; Reporting team is looking for a new member to join our team at the Global Headquarters in Stockholm.</p><p>As a Group Accounting Controller you will report to the VP Group Accounting &amp; Reporting. You will join the Group Accounting &amp; Reporting team of 7 people.</p><p></p><p><b>A typical day at work:</b></p><p></p><p>You will participate in chiefly all the activities performed by the Group Accounting team in the area of group accounting, reporting and consolidation. You will be an important team member in the monthly group reporting and consolidation process, supporting group entities and business areas in issues concerning group reporting and accounting, and preparing the group’s external financial reports in accordance with applicable regulations and requirements.</p><p></p><p><b>About the role:</b></p><ul><li>Active participant in the group reporting and consolidation process, assuring correct and on-time delivery in the group’s monthly, quarterly and yearly closings.</li><li>Specific responsibility for certain areas and/or steps in the monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting and consolidation process, consolidation adjustments, reconciliations and analysis.</li><li>This role currently covers e.g. being contact person for a business area, controlling of pensions, legal &amp; environmental provisions, and other operating items, as well as coordination of the quarterly balance sheet review process, and the IFRS 18 implementation.</li><li>Active participant in the production of the Group’s external reports (interim reports and annual reports) according to IFRS, including relevant required financial disclosures for the external market.</li><li>Knowledgeable in general accounting, group accounting, IFRS and financial reporting.</li><li>Technical knowledge of the AARO reporting and consolidation system, and good understanding of the consolidated accounts.</li><li>Participate in the maintenance, development and communication of the group’s Accounting Manual.</li><li>As a team member, drive and implement changes of new accounting standards. Current ongoing project concerns IFRS 18.</li><li>Take active part in continuous development of the reporting and consolidation process, improving efficiency and quality of the process.</li><li>Ad-hoc matters and projects.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Master’s degree in finance, business administration or similar.</li><li>A minimum of 8 years relevant experience, preferably from group accounting at a multinational listed company and/or big 4 audit firm.</li><li>Knowledgeable in accounting in general, group <span>accounting/consolidation,</span> financial reporting and well familiar with the IFRS framework.</li><li>Strong English skills, oral and written are a must.</li><li>Strong Swedish skills, oral and written, are a strong preference as the Group Accounting &amp; Reporting team produces external reports in both Swedish and English and many valuable trainings and seminars affecting this role are only available in Swedish.</li><li>Additional advantage:<ul><li>Knowledge of AARO reporting and consolidation system</li><li>Advanced level of Excel</li><li>Power BI/Power Pivot</li></ul></li></ul><p></p><p><b>You are:</b></p><ul><li><b>Agile</b>.
