About the role

Chief Ethanol Fuels is seeking a candidate to fill our Ground Maintenance position. This position will be responsible for landscape and maintaining grounds of property including, but not limited to, lawns, gardens, and driveways. This will be a seasonal position. Job Responsibilities:  
  • Mow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edgers.
  • Care for established landscaping by weeding, mulching, or trimming or edging flowerbeds , walks, or walls.
  • Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning shears , hedge and bush trimmers.
  • Prune or trim trees, shrubs, and plants to ensure aesthetic appeal and health.
  • See to the proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots by sweeping, pressure washing, and cleaning debris.
  • Gather and remove trash.
  • Daily inspections, cleaning, and maintaining the mowing equipment, and notifying maintenance of any mechanical issues if they should arise
Qualifications and Skill Requirements: 
  • Must posses knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in planting, cultivating, and trimming a variety of plants, trees, shrubs, and grasses.
  • At least one year of experience in grounds keeping preferred but not required. 
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
