Description
The Department of Biomedical Sciences, College of Dentistry at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time research track (non-tenure) position with a 11-month academic appointment beginning June 2025. Applicants will be considered for the faculty title of Research Assistant Professor. Position is non-tenure.
The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research aligned with the department's areas of interest and contribute service to the College, supporting its academic and community goals. The Department of Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry is a recognized leader in the area of biomedical research.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must hold a PhD in Pharmacology or related field and have research interests that align with the department.
A required qualification is preclinical experience in pain, addiction, and aging research. Additionally, candidates must have teaching and mentoring experience at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as strong communication, leadership, and collaborative skills to contribute effectively to the department’s academic and research environment.
