In this role, you will provide therapeutic services under the supervision of a licensed therapist or psychologist, supporting clients as they navigate mental health challenges and work toward improved well-being. You will deliver a range of services including individual, family, and group counseling, psychotherapy, and behavior modification using evidence-based practices to promote recovery and long-term stability.

This position is highly client-facing and may involve providing services both onsite and within the community, including homes, schools, or other community-based settings depending on program needs. Responsibilities may require regular travel within the community to meet with clients, collaborate with community partners, and support care coordination efforts. The use of a personal vehicle may be required, and candidates must maintain a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance in accordance with organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy services under the supervision of a licensed therapist or psychologist.

  • Conduct comprehensive client assessments, including intake, screening, and diagnostic evaluations.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans that address client goals and meet state, accreditation, and agency standards.

  • Deliver counseling and evidence-based interventions to support behavioral change and emotional well-being.

  • Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated client care.

  • Document all client interactions, services, and progress notes accurately and timely in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.

  • Monitor client progress and update treatment plans as needed.

  • Handle crisis situations, providing immediate support and coordination of emergency services.

  • Support clients through the transition and discharge process, ensuring continuity of care.

  • Represent the organization professionally within the community, maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality.

  • Complete required training and continuing education to maintain compliance and professional growth.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marital/Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field.

  • Experience providing therapeutic or counseling services preferred.

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and within multidisciplinary teams.

  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.
