A Typical Day Might Include

• Conducting experiments with new fiber compositions and weaving parameters
• Collaborating with engineers to optimize fabric performance for 3D weaving
• Analyzing test results and refining fabric specifications
• Meeting with product team to evaluate environmental impact of new materials
• Working with manufacturing partners to scale successful prototypes
• Documenting fabric specifications and maintaining the materials library.
• Developing fabric prototypes and overseeing testing procedures.
• Having lunch with the team (we're a pretty social bunch!)

Who You Are

• 7+ years of experience in technical textile development
• Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in Textile Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
• Deep expertise in woven fabric construction and 3D textile technologies
• Strong background in sustainable materials and circular manufacturing principles
• Proven track record of successful fabric innovation projects
• Experience with on-site manufacturing troubleshooting

The salary range for this role is $124,000 - $140,000 USD annually, plus equity.
