Research Fellow

Description

The Department of Languages, Cultures, and Applied Linguistics at Carnegie Mellon University seeks to
appoint a creative writer with native or near-native proficiency in French for a two-year fellow position
with possible renewal for an additional year. Applicants must have a record of publication in poetry, with
a focus on issues in French and Francophone cultures, and a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. The
successful fellow will devote their time to advancing their creative writing, with occasional opportunities
to teach.

Qualifications

Applicants must be eligible for CMU’s Artists and Scholars at Risk Program and apply through the
International Cities of Refuge Network (ICORN).
