Mon-Fri, 8-5pm

Qualifications

Responsibilities include the development of software tools and/or print product features utilizing C++ and Python. An early tenure professional with strong programming proficiencies and a keen motivation to learn new skills.

Looking for a Software Development Engineer to join their team in Boulder, CO. The role involves C++ development and support for print-related products on z/OS. Key responsibilities include working on Networking, Job Management, Printer Management, Datastream Transformations, and User Interfaces. The ideal candidate should have experience in software development and be knowledgeable about the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements definition and analysis to final testing and build. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. The candidate must be able to work effectively both in a team environment and independently, collaborating with industry experts.

Required Skills:

• C/C++ and Object-Oriented Programming

• Python Programming Language

• Solid UNIX background

• Work well in a team environment

• Working knowledge of software engineering best practices.

• Strong analytical, problem solving and debugging skills.

• Good self-management, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills Preferred Skills:

• PL/X or other Procedural, Block-structured Programming

• 370 Assembler Language

• z/OS System Programming Environment

• Experience with Print-Related Software and Data Streams

• Experience with Mainframe Systems

Education/Certifications:

B.S. or M.S. degree in computer science or related field or relevant professional experience
