Position Specific Description

This position is responsible for executing the Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order process and overseeing order fulfillment. The role involves leading Requests For Proposal, negotiating terms, and executing purchase documents. Regular interactions with suppliers are essential, as well as addressing standard supply chain issues. The position also supports team initiatives and assists in data collection for business unit stakeholders.

 

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities
•  Executes PR to PO processes and manages order fulfillment for material procurements in support of internal business units

•   Leads execution of RFPs and negotiations

•   Develops and maintains relationships with business units and key suppliers
•   Conducts industry analysis and evaluates ongoing supplier performance
•   Provides market data to support supplier selection, qualification, and on-going performance management
•   Drives down the total cost of ownership, and assists in managing the external spend
•   Participates in sourcing data analysis, forecasting and planning
•   Develops new sources of supply
•   Conducts business dealings with the highest level of integrity and regard for corporate guidelines, legal and environmental regulations

Job Overview

Employees in this role would be expected to lead Requests For Proposal (RFPs), negotiations, and purchase document execution.  Employees in this role will interact regularly with suppliers and address common supply chain issues. This role supports team initiatives and assists in data collection for stakeholders.

• Interacts with suppliers and handles routine supplier questions 
• Interacts with BU stakeholders around BU needs and specifications
• Addresses common supply chain issues and discrepancies
• Analyzes supplier performance on smaller scale purchases
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED
• Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
• Experience: 2+ years

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
