TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: July 6th - August 6th, Monday - Thursday; Hours: 8:00 AM � 12:00 PM;
PRIMARY FUNCTION: To plan and deliver effective intervention instruction to assigned students.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Learn methods of and successfully implement a variety of intervention programs.
- Plan and deliver small group intervention instruction to assigned students.
- Create and maintain accurate data on student progress.
- Monitor progress and adjust instruction as needed, based on student data.
- Match appropriate instructional materials and strategies based on student need as determined through data analysis.
- Perform other instructional duties as assigned by the principal or designee.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree
- Direct experience working with children
- Available entire duration of Summer School
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bilingual, English and Spanish
- Flexibility and patience in helping students build their academic success.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
SALARY: $32.00 per hour
