About the role
Amazon Live operates at the intersection of content, commerce, and community, bringing stories to life through video content on Amazon Live.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic self-starter experience builder. This individual will own and execute how the Amazon Live team show up at global events (the where, the why, the what). The events will vary from partnership experiences across the Amazon organization to developing new and innovative experiences that showcase our brand, clients, platform, and support driving our strategic goals. The individual must be able to handle ambiguity in a rapidly growing business.
As the Senior Global Events Manager at Amazon Live, you will be responsible for driving the event activation strategy and execution for Amazon Live experiential activations. You will ideate and deliver memorable experiences that build awareness and interest in Amazon Live by showcasing our brand and capabilities. You will have a passion for bringing inventive ideas to life, partnering cross functionally across marketing, business development, production and centralized event marketing organizations.
Key job responsibilities
* Build and collaborate across Amazon Live teams (i.e. Marketing, Business Development and Production) and Amazon Ads partners to develop a roadmap for both bespoke events and Amazon Live participation in global events
* Spearhead cross-functional mechanisms to drive alignment on event activation vision and plans, as well as project deliverables and timelines
* Work in close partnership with appointed agencies, managing budgets, timelines, and project deliverables
* Establish goals, plans and related metrics, manage initiatives and track progress to achieve quality improvements and operational efficiency gains.

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
