Purpose of Role

The Sr. Lead Network Engineer will be responsible to provide subject matter expertise on the design, implementation, and operational support of the UA global network.  This role will primarily be focused on supporting the Under Armour Distribution house, corporate, retail, cloud, and datacenter environments.  

Your Impact

• Lead the architecture and technical decisions of global infrastructure environment for specified area(s) with a focus on reliability, scalability, performance, and security.
• Architect, design, and support key integrations of cloud services within Azure, AWS and others
• Demonstrate the capability to lead and spearhead the delivery of strategic projects and operational tasks with precision and predictability.
• Leverage experience and latest technology developments in the creation and execution of strategic roadmaps aligned to overall business objectives.
• Present, augment or create business case proposals with recognition of future key initiatives.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrate and model advanced troubleshooting for critical escalations.
• Manage, identify, and execute escalation for resolution/communications within all support tiers.
• Demonstrate expertise in managing relationships with large global vendors and partners.
• Vision and ability to create overall strategic lifecycle management of global infrastructure.
• Maintain and test disaster recovery for all critical business network infrastructure.
• Define, document and communicate network standards and processes.
• Provide peer review on all changes and designs.
• Mentor junior IT teammates and partners 
   

Qualifications

 

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred and\or 10+ years of experience managing complex network environment using Cisco and cloud technologies.
• Network tools and automation experience.
• Experience managing complex network environment: SD-WAN, cloud firewall, on-prem firewall, network access control, wireless environments, AWS\GCP cloud networking.

Base Compensation

 $143,606.00 - $197,458.80 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
