Werkplaats - on the ground floor of Volkshotel - is a large cafe with a terrace and workplaces. It is a meeting place where many different people come together. Werkplaats has two faces: during the day it is a place for coffee lovers and in the evening you can come over for a wide range of (special) beers. There are also events regularly, from a photography market to speed dating and live jazz performances. <br>Responsibilities: - <br>You are jointly responsible for the organization, recruitment and motivation of the Werkplaats team; - <br>You manage a team of Shiftleaders and Allround employees; - <br>You train, guide, motivate and coach employees; - <br>You create a good atmosphere in the cafe and come up with ideas for renewal or improvement of the existing range in terms of assortment and programme; - <br>You guarantee quality and cleanliness in the workplace (HACCP) and behind the scenes; - <br>You are responsible for the seamless day-to-day operations within the Werkplaats and Event spaces; - <br>You realize qualitative and quantitative objectives such as labor productivity and turnover. <br>What we ask: - <br>You have relevant work experience in a managerial position; - <br>You live in the Amsterdam region; - <br>You speak Dutch and English; - <br>You can communicate clearly and set up standard working methods; - <br>You are stress-resistant, a hard worker and not afraid to roll up your sleeves; - <br>You are enthusiastic and a team player. <br>We find it important that our team is as diverse as Amsterdam itself a...<br><br>
