International Payroll Team Lead

Job Description

• Provide leadership and direction for the Payroll Team
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to promote professional growth and development.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the team, providing work/resource allocation, training, and development.
• Support management in problem resolutions, aid in coaching and mentoring Team members.
• Act as an escalation point for internal stakeholders on payroll related issues.
• Ensure all payrolls are processed in a timely manner.
• Review and approve final payroll calculations and reconciliations prior to payment.
• Project management and payroll integration for newly acquired companies.
• Ensure statutory legislative requirements across multiple regions.
• Lead the annual compensation/salary & bonus delivery across organization. 
• Implement process enhancements to increase the efficiency and satisfaction with payroll operations.
• Manage internal and external payroll audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of work experience in Payroll Operations, with at least 2 years in leadership position.
• Strong payroll processing experience in multi-state and international environments
• Proven experience in system implementations.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in project management.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical analysis.
• Experience with Peoplesoft or Oracle Payroll System would be an asset.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model from Cracow-based office.
