Description
JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resource Assistant Recruiter supports the Human resource function of recruiting, training, onboarding, and all other HR-related matters.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Full Cycle Recruiting Process, which includes, but is not limited to,
- working with hiring managers to initiate a requisition to open the role
- interviewing the hiring manager for position requirements
- Posting employment ads,
- Support the hiring manager with screening resumes if needed.

- Scheduling interviews
- Creating offer letters
- Collect required new hire forms, i.e., application and background release.
- Administer pre-employment testing and background screening.
- Responsible for overseeing and administering employee onboarding & training
- Work with the Hiring Manager to schedule the new hire's start date.
- Ensure new hire is set up and ready to on-board in HRIS.
- Conduct New hire orientation.
- Set new hires up in the Learning Management system and assign the appropriate HR training.
- Risk and Safety training that are legally mandated
- EEOC training (harassment, ADA, other state and federally-mandated training)
- Responsible for tracking and filing all training certificates, which include but are not limited to fair housing, EIV, Tracks, etc.
- Maintains employee files and records electronically in compliance with Federal & State law.
- Announces new hires to the team for system setup in OneSite and other applicable programs.
- Work with the HR Supervisor to develop and/or update job descriptions and Policies as required.
- Maintains employee referral records & programs
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years relevant work experience
- Prior experience in processing payroll a plus
- Must be able to handle confidential information appropriately
- Superior customer service skills and attention to detail
- Must be able to multi-task with strong time management skills
- Must be able to meet assigned deadlines
- Familiarity with clerical practices, office procedures, and automated equipment
- Must be able to work autonomously
- Must be detail-orientated
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Employee must be able to lift at least 15 lbs. and up to 20 lbs.
- Employee will frequently utilize their hands and fingers.
- Employee will be frequently required to sit, stand or walk.
- Employee will be required to bend, twist, stoop, and or kneel.
