What you’ll do:

As the Senior Staff Technical Program Manager for SoFi Product, you will play a critical role in advancing our end to end Product strategy and execution by driving horizontal initiatives across our product ecosystem. This highly strategic role will require you to collaborate across organizational boundaries with cross-functional leaders in engineering, product, design, business, marketing, operations and more. Additionally, you will play a key role in preparing SoFi to scale and deepen our product offering over the next few years.

The ideal candidate for this role will have strong ability to align and mobilize groups of disparate participants and stakeholders towards company priorities and strategic initiatives. As such, strong skills in communication and organization are critical. Great candidates will have a deep bias for action, strong sense of ownership as well as inherent tenacity and curiosity. As a Senior Staff TPM, we look to you to set ambitious goals, be gritty, and hold yourself and your cross-functional teams accountable to delivering results on behalf of our members.

Key responsibilities:

• Drive the end-to-end planning, execution, and communication of broad, horizontal strategic initiatives.
• Break down areas of high ambiguity into clear directives, milestones and agreements amongst the larger cross-functional project teams.
• Organize and mobilize individuals from across the organization to contribute to key central initiatives. 
• Assist in collecting and analyzing competitive analysis, industry trends and research insights from both internal and external sources.
• Communicate often and regularly with a range of senior executives and other stakeholders across the company.
• Establish strong project management best practices that establish rigor and smooth execution at scale in conjunction with the larger project manager community.

Qualification and experience:

• Experienced technical project manager with a track record of delivering successful consumer products through predictable, robust, and rigorous processes.
• Strong track record of influencing stakeholders and executive leadership through both verbal & written communication, leveraging data appropriately and often.
• Strong bias for action, inherent sense of ownership, and deep collaboration skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for contributing to companies through periods of growth and scaling.
• Strong track-record of delivering success with remote and distributed teams.

Nice to haves: 

• 10+ years of experience in technical program management, product management, strategy and/or similar role-based experience.
• Experience working within personal financial or other highly-regulated spaces.
• Experience working with seasoned Design & Research teams.
