HR Service Center & Payroll Intern (Spring 2025)

Description

 

The HR Service Center/Payroll Intern will experience the entire HR landscape by participating in process improvement and contributing activities in the HR Service Center. Assignment Duties;

• Gather documentation from new hire Associates.
• Lead process improvement activities.
• Help manage Plant Spartanburg’s service anniversary award program and ensure delivery to proper recipients.
• Conduct new hire audits to ensure accurate information is received in a timely manner.
• Follow-up with candidates and new hire Associates for missing information.
• Conduct verbal verification of employment activities.
• Other duties as needed. 

 

Assignment Projects

• Support of Employee Self-Service portal and mobile app contract restructuring process.
• Support of Service Anniversary Program contract restructuring process.
• Support of updated HR Service Center marketing campaign.

 

Qualifications

 

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business (Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Business Management or Information Technology)
• Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
• Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
• Able to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week)
• Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
• MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT.
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
• THE WORK TERM DATES ARE (January 13th – May 16th 2025)
