POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Contracting is responsible for overseeing agent contracting and new insurance company onboarding. This role ensures that all contracting processes are efficient, compliant, and supportive of the company's strategic goals. The Director will lead and develop the contracting team, manage key relationships with Insurance companies, and work closely with internal stakeholders to streamline operations.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Oversee and Direct the entire contracting process for agents and new insurance companies.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve contracting efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies and other external partners.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the contracting team, including performance management and professional development.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of contracting processes with overall company operations.
- Analyze and report on contracting metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Handle escalated contracting issues and provide resolution in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulatory requirements.
- Perform other Director duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICAITONS:
- Bachelor's degree or MBA preferred
- Preferred Bilingual Spanish
MIMIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contracting, administration(Directing), or a related field.
- Prior leadership experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of insurance contracting and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent customer relationship skills.
