Field Laboratory Representative (FLR) – Phlebotomist Floater
Job Title and Overview:
This role is a critical part of the quantitative drug testing analysis performed by Dominion Diagnostics. You will be responsible for collecting urine and blood specimens from patients, entering patient information into the electronic requisition form, and packaging and shipping all specimens to the laboratory for the purpose of analysis.
Schedule:
· Hours can range between from 5:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and will be approximately between 30 - 40 hours a week
· Hours and locations vary. This is a float position that requires the ability to work at locations in and around the surrounding area(s).
· Specific hours and location information will be provided to you by the management for this role at the time of initial conversation and/or interview.
· The schedule will change and is based on territory needs.
The FLR will perform the following duties while delivering superior customer service:·
Facilitate the collection of urine and blood samples while following departmental policies and completing all required order entry tasks. · Maintain inventory of sampling supplies and ordering as needed.· Maintain a high level of accuracy in all documentation.· Follow established HIPAA and compliance policies.· Must work efficiently with a team of laboratory professionals.
Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience. · Reliable transportation. · Punctuality and dependability with consistent attendance. · Exceptional customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for our clients and patients.· Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, while maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanor. · Basic computer/data entry skills and knowledge, including proficiency in common applications such as Microsoft Office, email communication, and the internet. · Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Physical activities include frequent walking, sitting, bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, reaching, twisting, and squatting.
